The difference between Good Fat and Bad Fat

Good fat is high-density lipoprotein cholesterol. High density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) can collect excess cholesterol from the blood and send it back to the liver and out of the body, so some people call this cholesterol "good cholesterol".
Bad fat is LDL cholesterol. Low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) is the leading cause of many heart diseases, such as atherosclerosis, commonly known as "bad cholesterol".
