·Check whether the new water filter is in its correct position, and then close the water filter door.

·Run four gallons of water through the line to clean the new water filter.

How to replace water filter 2 (EDR2RXD1, W10413645A)?

Water filter 2 can be installed in the following refrigerator models: ED2GVEXVD01, P6WB2L, Whirlpool WRS325FDAM02, Whirlpool WRF736SDAM11 and Whirlpool WRF736SDAM.

Here are steps to replace it:

·Locate the water filter in the upper right-hand corner inside the refrigerator.  

·Lift the water filter door up.

·Pull the water filter out and insert a new one into the slot, making sure that the arrow is pointing upward.

·Push the filter door closed so it is in the correct position.

·After replacement, run four gallons of water through the line to clean the new water filter.

How to replace water filter 3 (4396841, EDR3RXD1, Kenmore 46-9083)?

Water filter 3 can be installed in the following refrigerator models: PLWG2L and Whirlpool GS6NBEXRB01.

Here are steps to replace it:

·Locate your water filter cover on the left side of your Whirlpool refrigerator’s base grille.

·Push the eject button to release the water filter.

·Insert a new water filter into the slot, making sure that the arrow is pointing to the left.

·Push the water filter in until the eject button pops back out.

·Run four gallons of water through the line to clean the new water filter.

As long as you follow instructions above, I believe that you can finish changing your water filter in less than 5 minutes. I suggest you to change your water filters every six months or 200-300 gallons of water.
